Some boxes aren't just important. They're automatic disqualifiers.

Most scorecards treat every question equally. This one doesn't. Certain gaps in a supplement's profile aren't fixable by a strong score elsewhere. They're structural failures. Miss any one of these and the product is out, no matter what it scored on everything else.

No independent lab has tested the finished product, or the brand won't produce the Certificate of Analysis proving it
Testing isn't batch-specific: the CoA is tied to an old production run, or is more than two years old
The CoA doesn't confirm the actual amounts on the label: declared potency isn't independently verified
The full ingredient panel, active and inactive, isn't published on the brand's website, product listing, or available on request
Core ingredients fall short of the levels used in the supporting research
Formula contains your dog's known food sensitivities
